What to take with you to WYSIWYG Cabin...

TAKE towels & wash cloths, bed linens, including pillow cases. There is a double bed in each of the 2 bedrooms. Pillows, quilts and blankets are provided for each bed. When you leave just take yours with you and leave the beds as you found them.

Moon setting over the mountains...The kitchen is fully furnished. All the pots and pans, silverware, etc. you need to cook is provided. There is a microwave as well. There is also a nice charcoal grill on the deck. Be sure and clean it after use so bears won't come looking for a meal. When disposing of ashes, please use the shovel behind the cabin to dig a hole, put them in it and then cover them.

There are staple goods such as, salt & pepper, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, steak sauce, etc. in the fridge, unless the previous guests used it and didn't replace it. All you need to bring is the food you wish to cook. You can buy groceries at The Country Store in Bailey or the Safeway in Conifer.

There is a 19" TV/VCR/DVD with DishNetwork Satelite and over 100 TV stations and 30 CD Music stations + Sirius Radio, squirrel food, bird feed, and a hummingbird feeder. Anything you take out of it's place, please put back when you leave.

There is a PHONE at the cabin. We'll give you that number after you've made reservations so your friends and family can contact you while at WYSIWYG. The phone also has an answering machine.

High-speed wireless INTERNET is also available for free. Turn on your laptop and select the COLORADO connection and you're ready to go.

We have recently added a HOT TUB on the deck. Please do not wear bathing suits because of the soap residue which is bad for the filters. There is plenty of forrest for you to have plenty of privacy. Kids are not allowed in the hot tub because they usually urinate causing the hot tub to get cloudy and nasty looking and need to be drained and refilled. This is a challenge since we are in Dallas if you are at the cabin. Thanks for helping us keep it clean and enjoyable!

Great hiking near the cabin...There is a great wood burning stove which helps provides great heat for the cabin. You will need to take a bundle of firewood with you, say a bundle for every two days you are staying. There are also electric floor heaters in each room for additional heating if needed.

We have our own well and septic systems. If you purchase disposable items or dish washer soaps, etc. you must make sure the labels say they are "septic system safe". This will keep things working properly.

IF you are a smoker, please smoke outside and be careful to put out your cigarettes completely.
